Description

Research Tax Credits

The IRS Tax Code provides generous benefits for performing research and development. This includes more than the traditional scientist in a white lab coat. The government and the courts have expanded what qualifies, so now anyone that designs, invents, writes software, or improves products or processes, or develops better techniques may qualify for a tax credit. And since 2016, new rules may allow certain small businesses to elect to use the R&D credit to offset employer-paid FICA tax liability. Attend this informative Lunch-N-Learn with Burton Speer of Mengel Metzger Barr & Co. to learn more!

Parking

Parking is available in both the Mortimer Street Garage and the St. Joseph's Garage. The skyway from the Mortimer Street Garage is closed, so you if you park there, you will need to walk or take the elevator to street level, cross the street, and enter Sibley Square on the ground floor. Take the elevator, stairs, or escalator to the third floor. The skyway from the St. Joseph's Garage is still open for use. The HTR BetaSpace is located on the East Main Street side of the Sibley Building- look for the HTR window decals and you'll know you've found it!
